Thread: How did Vietnamese people start their businesses after the Vietnamese war?

Hi,

I believe that after the Vietnamese war, many Vietnamese people who were against ho chi minh and the communist government came to America to seek freedom. They came to America with no or little money and now there are many successful Vietnamese businesses like Pho places, hair salons, little communities like Little Saigon etc in the USA ( especially in San Jose CA ). I was just wondering how did they get the money to start the businesses and what are their contributions to the American society? please help thank you!!
