Explore the riverside life by cycling to Bac Ninh Province
Bac Ninh is located in the Red River Delta of the Northern part of Vietnam country, just about 30km from Hanoi Capital. It has been regarded as the wealthiest province in the North. The wealthy did not come from heaven, but the farmer here works harder than anywhere else. In other provinces, most fields are empty in the time between the second rice season and the first planting of the following year. Here in Bac Ninh, farmers plant other crops or vegetables such as maize, bean, peanut and more to make ends meet. Cycling around, tourists will have a good chance to explore the local people’s lifestyle, observe how they work hard for their harvests, enjoy the landscaping of northern delta and also visit one of the cradles of Vietnamese architecture, culture and customs.
