Default Lighting up candles to commemorate martyrs

Candles were lightened up at cemeteries for war martyrs in Hanoi, HCM City and the central province of Quang Ngai on the evening of July 26, to commemorate the people who sacrificed for the country’s independence and freedom.

The grateful ceremonies were held one day before the Day for War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27).

Below are some photos of the ceremonies:

HCM City officials and over 1,000 members of the HCM City Youth Union attended the
ceremony at HCM City Cemetery for Martyrs.

They burned incenses and lightened up candles at tombs of martyrs.

Similar ceremonies were held at the same time at other cemeteries for martyrs in HCM City.

At the cemetery for martyrs in Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
